A little glimpse into my kitchen

So after spending my entire day avoiding house chores and homework, I decided it was fitting to make a little Easter arrangement for my mom who I'm seeing tomorrow. A quick run to Kroger and here is the outcome (my homework can wait until tomorrow)! As if building a retaining wall today wasn't enough excitement for one day... back to my kitchen! My kitchen still isn't up to my standards but it's a far cry from where it started last May. I'm just not sure what the builders in the 60's were thinking with this ridiculous layout when there's an entire other side to this room that just sits empty... anyways! Some day when I've got more money than I know what to do with (one can dream), I'll gutt the whole thing and start over. Happy Easter!
