How to | Step by step, very detailed tutorial for board and batten utilizing existing baseboards1/14/2016 Hello again! Welcome to the longest tutorial you may ever read! Today, I'm going to share with you my experience installing board and batten in our dining room. In previous posts you will see my dining room dawned wainscoting. This was original to the home and poorly installed, causing it to be an eyesore. I slapped a few coats of white paint on to spruce it up immediately upon moving in, but I just couldn't wait for it to go away. The panels were so poorly installed that it only took 15 minutes to remove entirely from the room (thank the lord)! Thankfully, all I found beneath was hideous yellow paint (could have been much worse...).

Hello everyone! I wanted to share another project I tackled over the fall/winter. This adorable gossip chair showed up at my house courtesy of my mother in law who found it at a yard sale for $5! I could not find a place for it within my own home and so I decided it belonged in my sister in laws home. I got to work quickly fixing it up! Some how it escaped me to take a before photo, so I did some research and found one pretty close to how this one arrived. Mine had a hideous green, textured floral fabric instead of the cream colored shown.
