So, I've finally tackled a project that I've been saying I'll get around to for months! Our 1960's home lacks all functional storage, so it felt like a no brainer to do some reorganization in our master closet (and by master I mean my closet ;)). I've been pricing for some time closet organization kits like the ones made by closetmaid, but being the tightwad that I am knew there had to be a cheaper alternative. Que the Angels. Target pulls through again with a $30 bookcase!y

hello again! One area of my home I fail to ever mention is my husbands "man room". For obvious reasons, this room doesn't excite me much and has taken the backseat for 2+ years. Well, it's finally time to start sprucing it up. This is definitely going to have to happen in phases because I'm still unsure of what direction I want to go and I'd prefer to stay fairly minimal as this room could potentially be converted to a usable bedroom. I'm leaning for a more industrial feel in this room with some natural finishes and pops of black and white. So here's my first of many projects I tackled!
Here are two of my inspirations for this space. In a previous post, I mentioned a wreath that I was working on and I finally sat down and filmed a few ways to make felt flowers. This is a super easy project, perfect for middle aged kids to help out with (use of hot glue gun). This would be a cute end of school year teachers gift or Mother's Day gift! Keep reading for more details!
