Hello everyone! I feel like it has been ages since my last post, but I'm finally getting back into the swing of things after taking a much needed project break! This post inspiration came from a harmless trip to Joann's to pick up supplies for a spring wreath (next project, be on the lookout!). This was the first time I had noticed these cute, hanging globe terrariums in the floral department. Needless to say, I had to try this out! I could have used a variety of things to hang these globes with, but ultimately I ended up using a silver 30" chain I found in the jewelry making isle of Joann's. This was enough length to hang two globes at varying heights. You may need more or less depending on your project. Next, I went to My local Home Depot to pick up succulents and small screw-in cup hooks. Don't forget to use Joann coupons to save even more! One tip for removing excess potting soil from the bottom of your succulents is to use a fork and gently slough it off the plant's roots, leaving the roots as intact as possible. I would definitely rate this project for beginners and it is extremely affordable.
