Hello there! Can we talk about how long it has been since I've posted any content here for you all? Depressing, I know!I took a hiatus that turned into an eternity. I got out of the groove and couldn't figure out how to get back into it. I'm sure you have all experienced this whether it's with projects or working out. But I'm back and I suppose that's all that matters! I thought I'd do a quick update on some projects I've completed since my last post. If you're a long time reader you will have seen my gray bench on my front porch that I repurposed from a full sized bed frame. I had the metal from the foot board left and decided to create another bench to sell. It was painted in Behr Polar Bear (my go to white paint). I picked up this cute folding sewing table in an amish town here in Ohio and refinished it for a client's little girls. It was the perfect height for children. The top is painted in chalkboard paint which makes for a fun time! Not to mention the black will hide that marker that slipped off the paper. Where do I start with the dresser? This dresser was a selling wall find that I had my father in law pick up for me. Needless to say, if I had seen it in person it wouldn't have came home with me lol. It was in ROUGH shape. Truthfully it's still in my garage waiting for me to reconstruct the bottom drawer. Again, I painted this piece in Behr Polar Bear. Signs! They are so fun. I have made a handful of them recently either from wood scraps or old frames. Some of these frames may look familiar. That's because I finally retired the empty frame gallery had in my stairwell. The double pane chalkboard/ chickenwire was an amish country find that I repurposed. These signs make such a fun and personalized gift. And finally, I found this gray trunk in amish country as well. I added a wood top stained in Minwax weathered oak and some wood feet and sold this bad boy. I had no idea the demand for old trunks! Thank you all for the continued support and I promise to not disappear for such a long duration again! Big changes have been going on over here and I'm so excited for you all to be able to follow along! Sidenote, I'd love to start a subpage here on my blog where I discuss our infertility journey. Any thoughts? I know this is such a hard, unspoken topic. Xoxo
