Introduction

Here is our home the way it looked when we purchased it: complete with old, overgrown hedges! Needless to say, those hedges are no longer there thanks to my husband and father-in-law!

Hello everyone. As stated in my 'about me' my name is Beth. My husband and I bought our first home in May 2014 and started renovations in July 2014.
A little about our home
Our home was built in 1966 and was 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath when we purchased it . It is nestled in a cute, established neighborhood near Columbus, Ohio. Our home is approximately 1800 square feet not including a 700 square foot unfinished basement complete with a detached 700 square foot, two car garage and an attached half garage (I'll explain later!). Our home was a foreclosed home that had been decently renovated (and by renovated I mean new paint and carpet only) by the bank that owned the home.

This summer I have big plans for the exterior of our home. We spent the majority of last summer working on the interior and neglected the exterior (sorry neighbors!).

• Whitewash the exterior brick
• Install new shutters
• Line flower beds with pavers
• Re-concrete our driveway
• Repair wooden fence
