Master Bedroom Update

Since finding out we were expecting our first child, we knew our upstairs needed some rearranging to better accommodate a child so we literally rotated all of our bedrooms contents clockwise, leaving our old master bedroom free for a nursery. You would think with four bedrooms we would have plenty of space, but somehow in three years we've managed to designate a need to each room! You can see our previous "master" bedroom HERE in this post.
Starting with our old master, we emptied it entirely out to be used as a nursery. It never was a great layout as you walked right into a closet wall when you entered, but I initially picked it because it had the largest closet of the four bedrooms.

Next, my husbands "man room" got moved and this room (the largest bedroom, second largest closet) became our master. Once this room was complete I questioned why I ever put us in the original room! This room just feels more peaceful to me. I did redo the closet using the same method I used in our old closet HERE, but using a 12” Closetmaid White Closet Organizer. Side note, we love our Ikea Hemnes dresser so much we bought a second to use in our nursery (glossy finish, not white stain). I've linked the items above and those that were no longer available, I've found similar items.

Next, our spare room became my husband's new "man room" and our spare bed got moved to what I called my "beauty" room, essentially where I have a desk to put on makeup and do my hair. While the beauty room is a tight fit, it's still functional for our needs.
I’m super excited to be doing a nursery reveal, likely in December after we have our baby shower and I do some organizing/putting away. We have been so busy with house projects preparing for this little girl!
