My staircase transformation

As you will recall from my previous post about my living room makeover, my staircase got an overhaul as well. I am in love with how it turned out. Not too long after I completed the stairs, I added these empty picture frames I found at an antique mall. Some of them I painted to fit my color scheme, but several were already dead on. I can't tell you the number of times people have asked why they are empty and my mom isn't particularly a fan. Perhaps some day I'll change it up or add pictures, but I am content with the simplicity of it! Also, at some point down the line I want to add a runner to my stairs and I'll be sure to write about it when I do.
